  10. Attention: This is a still a BETA version. I tested it and found no errors or
  11. Enforcer Hits but I my have not testet all possibilities. If you find any
  12. bugs please let me know about it.

  25. Introduction
  26. ------------
  27.  
  28. The main motivation is that scopts does not support smake options so you
  29. would either have to change the preferences every time you want to change
  30. some options in the Editor or you have to make thousands of menus.
  31.  
  32. The main use of the program will be to call it from a Editor in my opinion,
  33. to set the options and after that the Editor calls smake with the saved
  34. options (it is saved to a file called "smopts").
  35.  
  36. Of course you won't need this program if you don't use SAS/C 6.x.

  41. SmakeOpts has the following features:

  43. - Runs as well from WB as from CLI (supported by tool types)
  44.  
  45. - Is able to run on a Public Screen
  46.  
  47. - uses a GUI created with @{"BGUI" link "BGUI"}
  48.  
  49. - includes example definition & rexx scripts for BED
  50.  
  51. - @{"BGUI" link "BGUI"} library included
  52.
